Qualifications:-

 Candidates willing to apply for RRB Group D exam are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible to appear for the Railway Group D exam.

The conditions for RRB Group D eligibility are decided by the conduction body itself. The eligibility criteria important for candidates to fulfil are prescribed in detail in the RRB Group D official notification.

The candidate’s eligibility for RRB Group D exam is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:

1. Nationality
2. RRB Group D Age Limit
3. RRB Group D Qualification

The highlights of RRB Group D eligibility criteria are given below:

RRB Group D Nationality

A candidate is eligible to appear for RRB Group D exam only if he/she is:

1. A citizen of India, or
2. A subject of Nepal, or
3. A subject of Bhutan, or
4. A Tibetan refugee permanently settled in India from and before January 1, 1962.
5. A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) present a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India to the recruiting body.

RRB Group D Age Limit

The Railway Recruitment Board has set the RRB Group D Lower Age limit to 18 years and that of RRB Group D maximum age limit is 33 years. Any candidates beyond the age limit extremes as prescribed by the Railway Board will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

As prescribed in the notification, RRB Group D Age Limit for candidates in the RRB Group D 2020 examination is to be reckoned from 1st July 2019.

Candidates appearing for RRB Group D 2020 examination must have their date of birth between 1st July 2019 and the dates given in the table below.

Candidates are required to fill the RRB Group D application form online on the official RRB website. The steps to apply for RRB Group D exam 2020 are as under:

1. Visit the RRB official website of the respective RRB region.
2. Click on the link “Railway Group D Recruitment Notification”.
3. Read the instructions given carefully and click on “Apply Online button”.
4. Select “New Registration” if applying for the first time and not registered before.
5. Fill up all the details asked such as personal, contact details and academic details.
6. Upload scanned photograph and signature in the necessary format and size.
7. Make the payment of the RRB Group D application form fee (details are given below).
8. Recheck the information provided and Submit the RRB Group D online application form.
9. Take the print out of RRB Group D application form for future reference.
